I do not like Green Eggs & Ham...

My son has a new favorite book as of Monday. You guessed it, Green Eggs and Ham has made it to the top of the charts and is officially driving me crazy. It's kind of lengthy, but that's not what gets me most. Apparently, Noah likes for it to be read in 3's. So, you finish the first round and he sits there looking at you until you say, "again?" and he says, "yes! yes!" Now I've tried talking him in to another book, but it's no good. And on the second round I begin to shorten things a bit. I throw in "or" instead of starting a new sentence. The book reads, "I do not like them in a box. I do not like them with a fox." Mommy's version goes, "I do not like them in a box or with a fox." There are many other shortcuts I've added and Noah has yet to notice....he is only 19 months :) Way to go, Dr.Seuss, for writing such a hit book. But as for me, I do not like it here or there. I do not like it anywhere.
